I Had A Nephrolithotomy, Was Sent Home With A Nephrostomy

i had a nephrolithotomy, was sent home with a nephrostomy tube. my physician prescribed hydrocodone for pain mgmt. it gave me nausea. i could not continue the use. i'd had a total hysterectomy a year prior. my physician at that time prescribed percocet, and i had effective pain mgmt. with no adverse side effects. although i explored that situation with my urologist...he still insisted on the hydrocodone. i switched to IBF which was not as effective...but no nausea. in the event of further unseen procedures..what would be my choice?
