i got a severe cold 1 week ago (on vacation, we swam in the condo pool...nobody around, but appeared clean). Nose ran like a faucet for 3 days (i almost never get colds). one grandson got ear infection and the other conjunctivitis while there/soon after swimming in pool. by day 4, became somewhat congested with headaches. Day 5 nausea and vomiting. Went to urgent care last Friday...was given Cefdiner 300mg (i stopped taking because of the diarrhea warnings, was told to take flonase and claritan and sudafed. i am only taking flonase at this point. too much medicine for me. today i had red/brown loose stools and i am still nauseous. Should i make an appointment with gastroenterologist? (i was better last weekend and started getting nauseous and that "sick feeling" yesterday. Not able to function well.
