General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of the finger seem to be related to the injury.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

I also recommend to use ice compresses at the area of the the finger.

If the symptoms continue I suggest to do an x ray to exclude a fracture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
