hi I am a mom of a 12 year old boy who was bit by a tick when he was 2 or 3. I did not save the tick to be tested but took my son to the Dr.'s to be checked. he did not do blood work just made sure the tick was completely out of his head in the back where his hair covered the bite. The tick was full of blood when it was pulled off with tweezers and alcohol. I recently thought of blood work after looking up the symptoms and noticed he has some of them. Jointed pain, also May 2015 he weighed 89 pounds today August 16, he weighs 80 pounds. please respond. thank you Nancy
