Hello,

You are suffering from lower back pain and lower waist pain. Your symptoms are indicative of sprain, stress during exercises, it can also be developing sciatica, arthritis, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood tests, X-ray and MRI if needed done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms. You will be accordingly treated.

Maintain healthy weight if overweight. Get connected to a Physical therapist, you may need heat therapy, massage therapy and exercises under observation. You can take naproxen, one stat when severe pain. You can apply pain relieving sprays when required. Include anti inflammatory food in your regular diet. Stay away from addictions if any.

You did not have periods for the last 2 months and have gained weight. If sexually active , get clinically examined to detect if pregnant, if not then it can be due to hormonal imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, anemia, PID, etc., get treated at the earliest. Take home made, balanced, nutritional food. Avoid packaged and processed food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
