good morning, I was on tamoxifen for three years because I had several excisional biopsies and the last one I had my pathology showed I had LCIS. I had my routine breast MRI in November and something lit up. TUrned out it was Stage 1 Grade 1a IDC. I opted to have a double mastectomy on January 24. Final pathology and lympnodes showed no evidence of cancer. Oncotype was 19. Tumor was very small and in the milk duct. I am scheduled to get my first shot of Lupron and I think Aromasin this Wednesday. I am worried again about side effects. While on tamoxifen I gained 25 lbs in the three years and the last year my legs seemed swollen and I had trouble zippering my riding boots. I was taken off the tamoxifen shortly after my diagnosis and I already dropped 13 pounds and I am not bloated. WIll I experience the same with this regimen? What about hair loss. I didn't experience that with tamoxifen. but I had joint pain eventually. it did not give me vaginal dryness or lower my libido either. Will this regimen do that? I just am afraid of gaining the weight again. I felt like had no control even with exercising and watching what I ate,
