Yesterday I Went Into An Urgent Care With A Bad

Yesterday I went into an Urgent Care with a bad ear ache. My ear was flushed, and I was diagnosed with Acute Otitis Externa, unspecified. I was given a script for neomycin-polymyxin-hydrocortisone 10ml. After the first dosage, my ear immediately reclogged, and the pain returned. Now 24 hrs later, the ear remains clogged, and the pain returned, seemingly worse. I've also developed a swollen gland in the immediate area of the cartotid artery, same side as the bad ear. I'm wondering if this is typical and I'm just being a whiner, but this seems a lot worse since yesterday.
