Yes, thank you. My spinal surgeon has recommended replacing my C 5-6 disc with a small titanium implant. An auto accident caused herniation in my 5-6 and 6-7 discs. I discussed my concerns regarding metals in my body and the negative health affects to my immune system. Dr. Prudence Hall describes the inflammatory results to our immune system especially when the implants are in the jaw and that our sinuses respond negatively. My dentist also recommended titanium implants for 2 teeth that have developed root bacteria in spite of my lifelong dental health regularly. I've known people who died of cancer after dental implants (too many to ignore). My neck is connected to my head so there is basis for treading with caution. I've lived 60+ yrs and started changing my behaviors 40 years ago. I don't eat meat nor smoke. and haven't since college. I don't have hypertention, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol nor cancer as a result ( as all of my family does..). I'm apprehensive and need to hear the latest findings on the issue of titanium implants. I would feel stupid if I make the wrong decision at this juncture. Thanks you, in advance.
