Yes, My Daughter Was Diagnosed With Alopecia In January, She

Yes, my daughter was diagnosed with alopecia in January, she is 8. She Haas high levels of heavy metals in her hair and blood analysis. She was on a low glycemic diet fit a few months in the spring and it seemed to hero her hair grow back. She went off that on the summer and now we are trying a Gluten free diet because the low GF was difficult for her to maintain. Her hair loss is getting worse. Do you know how this disease progresses? If there are bald spots on her arms and legs, eyebrows and missing eye lashes does that mean she will go completely bald?

We read online that coal tar may be effective, but have also read that it causes hair loss. Which is true?

Do you have any recommendations of what we can do for her? We have gone the naturopathic route because doctors seem to be clueless when it comes to this.

I feel like we are just grasping at straws trying all sorts of things so my little girl doesn't go bald.
