Yellowish Skin On The Finger Due To Bacterial Infection. Pus Formation With Swelling. On Bactrim. Further Treatment?

I have a bacterial infection on my right hand, ring finger , the skin becomes hard and yellow in color, after washing my hands the skin pulls away from the nail / nail bed. There was yellow pus coming out from where the skin pulled apart. The top and side of my finger has a boggy or spongy feel, red and swollen. I am on 3 days of Bactrim .
