Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,
If a pulmonologist has given you clearance that means that there is no active disease. The blunting could be a simple pleaural thickening due to some old healed infection of the pleura. If there is suspicion of pleural effusion , then a USG of the thorax may help pick up the effusion.
