Would Cyclobenzaprine 10mg Interact Adversely With Adderal XR, Lexapro And Vitaril?
my 17 yr old daughter takes several medications Adderal xr, Lexapro, and vitaril she has been having chest pains for several days which I took her to the emergency room for they didn t find anything I thought a muscle relaxer might help but am afraid of interactions she weigh 260 lbs the muscle relaxer is 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine
Hello, I would recommend against it as Cyclobenzaprine is quiet sedating. Lexapro and Vistaril are also sedating. As far as the chest pain is concerned we need to rule out dyspepsia (hyper acidity) as both Lexapro and Vistaril render the patient susceptible to it. I recommend you give her tablet Pantoprozole and soft diet. Giver her fluids, especially cold milk. In case the chest pain persists, we should investigate further.
