Would A Lumbar Spinal X-ray Need Removal Of All Metal Objects?
Hi, I am going for "lumbar spine" xray today - I previously had a chest xray where I was asked to remove an metal objects, however I do not recall whether this included a jeans zipper. For an xray such as the lumbar spine, would one need to remove a jeans with a metal zipper?

Yes you need to remove any kind of metal object on the body / in the clothes.
As they can obscure the part to analyse pathology at that area where metal object is there.
Better remove your pant and wear hospital pant.
