Will 'zaltyokin' Help In Treating Arthritis In Foot?

my wife(54 years) had a foot problem diagnosed as Arthritic foot on X Ray by an Orthpaedic Surgeon. She also had occasional paid in the shoulders and neck. Due to her foot problem, she is finding it difficult to walk. Our other tests are normal. Doctor has advised that it is irreversible, but has suggested Zaltyokin for 15 days. Will it help? does it have any side effects?

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think your are suffering from osteoarthritis of multiple joints specially of foot.Your doctor prescribed Zaltyokin for 15 days.Yes this drug is effective in pain relief. It is analgesic .It has side effect like other analgesics but these are much less.Diacerinre and glucosamine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration.Quadriceps exercises is started after pain relief.You can discuss with your treating doctor.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
