Will There Be Reddish Bruising On The Gums Above The Loose Tooth?
My 5 year old son has his first loose tooth. Is it normal for there to be reddish/purple bruising on the gums above the loose tooth? Could it be attributed to the permanent tooth moving down or is this something that requires immediate attention? We have a scheduled dental appointment in 3 weeks.
thanks for your query, thee reddish bruising could be because of the sharp root or tooth structure of the milk tooth causing irritation to the underlying gums resulting in enlargement of the gums and pain...if the tooth is mobile it can go for extraction....consult a dental surgeon for needful.. if it is painful take a pain killer and do saline gargling...
