Will The Use Of Steroid Injection And Whysolone Tablet Cause Any Side Effects To My Health?
hi, I had visited a doctor in during a medical emergency, the doctor had given me a steroid injection along with glucose without informing me. He also has given me a prescription which also has whysolone(steroid tablet) mentioned on it. I was not aware of it until i visited another doctor and shown the prescription given by the former doctor. Will this cause any unwanted side effects in my health. What should I do now

Wysolone if taken less than 3 weeks at moderate doses should not cause serious side effects (moderate weight gain & striae on abdominal & thigh skin can occur). You can ask your doctor to discontinue the medicine if not absolutely indicated. If you have taken it for more than 3 weeks, you need to taper the dose & then discontinue to avoid steroid deficiency in body.
