Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my husband and I are going to start trying for a baby- he is 38 years old and I am 31. My husband has recently been prescribed tetralysal, and I was wondering whether this would be harmful to our unborn child if we are lucky enough to conceive. This is the only medication either of us are taking.
Hi and thanks fir the query, This is very difficult to cause any harm to the fetus. Causing harm to the fetus usually occurs when generally taken before three months after conception. After 3 months, there is normally a bit difficult to cause harm. I suggest you really not be bothered but you should seek the opinion of your gynecologist. Kind regards
