Will Taking Of Acetaminophen Before Surgery Have An Effect ?
I m having surgery in 2 days and I had my pre op today but it says not to take anything with Tylenol in it for 2 weeks prior to surgery but the doctor doing the surgery prescribed me oxycodone/acetaminophen 5/325 a week ago and never told me to stop taking it. I take 4 a day. Will it affect my surgery or anything. I don t want them to reschedule because I have family already coming in for surgery

Hi,
Usually, Oxycodone and Acetaminophen can be taken before surgery. There is no need to discontinue them in above-mentioned dosage.
