Will Pantocid Cause Black Stool?

i have been prescribed with pantocid dsr for gas related disease. Just today morning i have started taking it. Incidently I have noticed black stool. i will be undergoing ogd on monday morning. my doubt - can I continue taking pantocid dsr despite black stool ?
