Will Eating Slate Cause Any Adverse Effects?

I too have an habit of eating slate pencil will it cause any big side effects like cancer, alcer, because in slate pencil calcium and some other nutrients might be present, may be due to the inefficiency of calcium also causes on having this slate pencil right
