I m just worried about some alcohol consumption before finding out I was pregnant. We conceived 6/21 or 6/22, and on 7/17, 7/18, and 7/19, there were three different social events where I probably drank 3-5 glasses of red wine per occasion, with food, and over a period of a few hours. I found out I was pregnant on 7/20 and stopped drinking. I had a first ultrasound on 7/31, where I was measuring approximately 7 weeks and 2 days. Since then, I have had two more ultrasounds, one at 10w6d, and the most recent being on 9/5 where I measured at just over 13 weeks. All ultrasounds have been great - baby is growing on schedule, and I even saw his mouth opening and closing and limbs moving at the last ultrasounds, which tells me the brain is sending the appropriate signals for reflexes to occur. I ve been eating healthy drinking lots of water, and taking prenatal vitamins. Yet I still can t shake the drinking that was done before I knew I was pregnant. Did I put my baby at risk for FAS?

Yesterday I was started on a seizure medication, Keppra. I am taking 500 mg/day for one week and then will be taking 1000mg/day starting next week. I realize that I am not supposed to drink alcohol with any medication, but will I have to be 100% abstinent from all alcohol forever? Once my body adjusts, will I be able to have an occasional glass of wine?

I have been drinking quite frequently for the past year and I stopped drinking any alcohol for the last 9 days. Day 1 and 2 I had headaches but felt quite good after that. Last night I drank 3 quarters of bottle of wine and woke up early hours with terrible ache in chest and upper abdomen and frequent urination which eventually eased the aching somewhat. Today I have felt really stiff as if I am bruised. what could be causing this. I am 36 female about 19 st 5ft 9 and have pcos also
