Will Antibiotics Cancel The Effect Of Contraceptive?

Hello! I would like to know if its true that antibiotics cancel out contraceptives. I recently had a baby by c-section and used Petogen as a contraceptives but my operation would became a bit septic and I was given erthromycin to help with the wound. So my question is, could it be possible that the antibiotic cancelled out the contraceptive?

I understand your problem. I can assure you that antibiotics will not cancel the effect of contraceptive.
Take your complete course of antibiotics to ward off the infection and also continue to use your contraceptives.
