Will BP Be Increased Or Decreased In Posterior Pituitary Tumor Patient?

Mr. Grimaldi was previously diagnosed as having a posterior pituitary tumor that causes hypersecretion os ADH. he comes to the clinic regularly to have his blood pressure checked. Would you expect his blood pressure to be chronically elevated or depressed? Why?

Hello and thanks for writing.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. Usually excessive ADH secretion leads to blood volume expansion without edema or hypertension. So usually it has no impact on the blood pressure.
