Will 4 Abortion Pills Taken Orally And Vaginally Help Complete An Abortion?

I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. I took 4 abortion pills. Two was orally and two vaginally. After 5 hours i started having cramps and light bleeding. After an hour a big blood clot was passed. Half an hour after a next big one. After that the bleeding slowed down and the cramps stopped. The morning after one bean size blood clot passed but still no heavy bleeding. My stomach is bloated and i have slight back pain but no cramps and still bleeding a little. Does this means that everything has not come out?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

To confirm that the product of conception has been completed, you need to do an ultrasound. This is necessary, because if products are retained, then this can lead to serious complication. So I would advise you must get an ultrasound done. The symptoms you said are not specific, it can occur with the drugs, also with expulsion, so we cannot rely on that.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
