Why There Is No Foetal Movement After Having Meal?

Hi i am 29 weeks pregnant and am worried about foetal movement, it decreases significantly after a big meal when i am bloated to the point of discomfort, today i haven't felt any movement for 4 hrs since my meal. Is this normal ? I'm still very bloated, and have bad back aches.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion you might not able to feel the movements due to bloating after the meal. The bloating might be due to gastritis which is routinely seen in pregnancy.Take antacids.Avoid spicy and oily diet.Take meals in small quantities every 2 hourly.I suggest you to count the fetal movements for 12 hours of time.It should be 10 in 12 hours time.If the count is less than 10 then it suggests abnormality.Always lie down left or right side while sleeping as it increase the blood supply to fetus.
