Why My Son Is Having No Control On His Head?

Hi my name is annalisa. My son Marco is 8 months old and for the last 2 months i have noticed his head flopping down or back seems like has no control and scared he will burt himself.
Rcent days he has also started losing control of headfrom side to side as well.... Worried mum.....

Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
If your child is losing head control then it may be a sign of either muscular dystrophies, myopathies or neuro degenerative disease.
If such a child comes to my clinic then
I would like to go for complete developmental assessment, Blood CPK and thyroid levels, MRI and if required EMG.
You should get him checked by a paediatric neurologist.
