Why Is My Son Feeling Out Of Breath?
yes please my son has a rapid heartbeat and is complaining of feeling out of breath - he seems to have a virus in that he is weak sleeping a lot and has been complaining of feeling sick for the last 48 hours - should i take him to the gp or wait and see how he is - he has just started eating which leads me to think it can't be that serious?

Shortness of breath and faster heart rate can be due to respiratory infections or some bronchospasm in children. it will need some antibiotics and bronchodilators. Seeing a paediatrician for sorting it out would be wise.
