Why Is My Shoulder Sore? Is It Related To GERD, Gallbladder Or Heart Problems?

I have been having heart burn for months that normally goes away with tums. In the last couple of days I also woke up with a sore shoulder. It is a hurting that feels like maybe I slept on it wrong but when it is massaged it is very painful like deep in the muscle. I am wondering could either be connected, like GERD or gallbladder or heart? I have no pain or tightness or short of breath or heavy feelings in my chest

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
The pains that you have described are likely to be due to a muscular pain most likely caused by a wrong body posture. Taking mild pain killers and muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief. Regular stretching exercise will be helpful.
you can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
