Why Is A 9 Month Baby Having Swelling In Feet And Dragging Of Leg?

My son is 9 months old and has been having swelling of his feet off and on for a few weeks. His pediatrician is quick to dismiss any concerns about everything. Now he also is dragging one leg as he army crawls but will bear weight on it when standing. Is that normal and okay or something concerning?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
Swelling of feet is usually seen in problems of kidney, low protein in blood. But in this conditions the swelling will present continuously.
On and off swelling is seen in allergic conditions.
Dragging is seen early in crawling, but if it persists I suggest you to examine him to look for any stiffness in legs.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
