Why Have I Experienced Sudden Onset Of Blurry Vision While My Cataracts Are Still Small?

I have just experienced sudden onset of blurry vision, both distance and reading, in my right eye alone. Just had an eye exam last month, my cataracts are so small that my vision is not impaired with corrective lenses. Eyes looked healthy otherwise. Cleaned my glasses, first thing, to make sure it was not that. Been without my Lisinopril 20 mg qd for past 3 days, waiting for refill to get called in. Please advise. Thanks

Hi,

In my opinion, just stoppage of Lisinopril for 3 days, should not have any effect on the size of your cataract. However, the size of cataract might have increased, after your previous examination or the density of the area with cataract might have increased. Therefore, a re-evaluation of your cataract is indicated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
