Why Does One Turn Schizophrenic After Consuming Alcohol?
hiya
my younger sister aged 13 suffered kawasaki disease when she was younger, she has returned home tonight clearly heavily under the influence of alcohol and may have been in a room of cannabis smokers. its taken us 5 hours to calm her down as she went really schizophrenic on us. she hasnt done this since suffering the disease. we're really scared and wondered if it could have brought the disease back, triggered it off in some way. she has never reacted like this before since the disease and isnt one to go out and drink alcohol at all. like i said after 5 hours we finally have got her to sleep. the police have been informed about the situation as she was in the care of my elder brother, but i just wondered if i could have a medical point of view about the way she has reacted?

actually alcohol and cannabis both causes auditory and visual hallucinations. after the recovery from these effects person gets normal. so dont worry. she will be fine after a day. it will be better to contact psychiatrist for follow ups. take care. dont forget to give ratings to my answer. hope this answer is helpful to you.
