Hello,

A foreign body sensation in the throat may be due to:

1. Pharyngitis
2. Tonsillitis
3. Gastro esophageal reflux disease
4. Post nasal drip
5. Granular pharyngitis
6. Smoker then chances of ca larynx or posterior pharynx

Please consult your ENT specialist and get examined for indirect laryngoscopy, or oral examination. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
