Hi, in october my dad had a TIA and ever since he has been on blood pressure tablets and has monitored hia blood pressure throughout the day. From these results it is noticeable that his blood pressure increases to around 160/90 every evening yet during the day it can be around 134/80...any idea why this is?

Hi there
Yes some patients do have evening rise of their blood pressures and that can be very well taken care by adjusting the antihypertensive medications. As your dad already had a TIA so it is important in his case to get his bp meds adjusted asap. And if he smokes please try to curb this habit.
Good Luck
