Hello there,
Feeling sleepy after a workout may be due to your body being unable to recover easily or you having a deficiency of iron. Please get a blood profile-Hb, RBC, MCV done and then if any deficit is there you can be supplemented with iron tablets. Also protein is essential for recovery and you should try to have your body weight equated in grams of protein a day. For e.g if your weight is 75 kg you should have 75 grams of protein in total a day. An average vegetarian diet would account for 30 grams of protein a day so you can supplement it with 1 scoop of protein powder after a workout.

Hope this helps,
Dr Arun A
