Hi,

First of all, you should measure your blood pressure in 2 separate occasions to exclude hypertension. If your systolic blood pressure is more than 140 or your diastolic blood pressure more than 90, you have hypertension and your medical treatment. Second, you should do Kidney function tests and urine analysis and urine VMA to exclude a renal disease and pheochrocytoma. Besides the medical treatment, you should modify your lifestyle by decreasing salt and alcohol intake, stop smoking and doing some physical exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dr/Mustafa, Neurologist
