Why Am I Feeling Oily In My Throat?

Hi. I am 27 years old Female. For the past 2 weeks, I feel oily in my throat and feeling like I am going to vomit even if I see any food. I like to drink something cool and only cool liquid items. Thinking of even food makes me uncomfortable as if I am going to throw up. But I have not vomited. Please help

Hi. The feeling oilyness and feeling of vomiting is usually due to a curtain of thin mucus lining like a sheet stuck to the throat wall , which is very tenacious so difficult for the body to self-clear it. Steam inhalation and warm liquids helps to clear this better than any medicines.
Yet to confirm have a consultation with an ENT Specialist for clinical examination and any further treatment if needed.
