White Mucus In Stools, Hard And Soft Stools, Yellow Greenish Foul Smelling Mucus. Cancer?

I have been noticing white fluffy mucous in my stool for the past few months now. The stools are also very often hard to pass, or very soft; rarely average or normal. There are also times when I feel as though I need to go, but all that comes out is a jelly-like, yellowish-green, foul-smelling substance. is this a sign of cancer

Hi, this is called as altered bowel habits common in cancer of colorectal area and mucoid stools can be due to infections or rectal cancer.please see your physician, undergo per rectal examination, proctoscopy, stool examination and if required colonoscopy. Take care.
