Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 10 weeks (LMP 29th June)pregnant and want to know what is the best time to perform tiffa test as previously when I was pregnant i had to terminate at 27th week because of that foetus was suffered from diaphragmatic hernia. So kindly suggest me for the best time for tiffa test so that I can ease myself.
Tiffa (Targeted Imaging for Fetal Anomalies) test is usually done between 18-23 weeks of pregnancy (the second trimester) and ultrasound is used to detect congenital abnormalities in the growing fetus.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Tushar Kanti Biswas, Internal Medicine Specialist
