General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.

Qvar (Beclomethasone) is an inhaled steroid that should be used on a regular basis. Albuterol a "short-acting bronchodilator" when inhaled it acts to open the airways quickly, so it is used as needed to give quick relief of symptoms.

It is recommended that bronchodilators should be administered prior to inhaled steroids based on the rationale that “opening the airways” would permit enhanced deposition of an inhaled steroid. However, it is also fine to use these two medications together.

Hope this answers your query.
Best regards.
