When Is The Earliest One Can Take A Pregnancy Test?

When is the earliest you can take a pregnancy test? I don t know exactly when my last period was. I just know around Halloween I assume. I had a bad uti that caused bloody urine for like 2 and a half weeks (which I assumed was in menstrual cycle in the beginning) Should I give it a full month before I take the test? My cycle is irregular so I don t know if i could miss one due to being pregnant or being irregular. The date when I had intercorse was November 12th 2016 and November 14th. Should I wait?

Hi,

I understand your concern. You have irregular period. You had sex on 12th and 14th November. I would suggest to go for urine pregnancy test 3 week after unprotected sex (with early morning sample) if period does not come. You can also go for current radioimmunoassays test for Blood HCG: It give positive result just 10-12 days after unprotected sex. It is more sensitive and specific than urine pregnancy test.

I would suggest to go for current radioimmunoassy test for blood HCG 10 days after unprotected sex. Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
