When, During The Menstrual Cycle, Should Birth Control Pills Be Started?

Hi I just got my first pack of birth control pills and I need to know when to take my first pill. I know I could either start on a Sunday during my period or start on the first day of my period but if I do that then I will be taking sugar pills before my period instead of while Im on my period and I dont want to get pregnant ...please help!!!!!

Hello,

You can start on the day when the periods ends. You can take the insert pills during the periods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
