When Do Periods Begin After Taking Norethisterone?

I started my periods on the 12th of January 2017. I had unprotected sex on the 29th of January and started Oral-con pill the next day. i have finished the cycle but no periods up to now. Saw a doctor who prescribed Norethisterone to induce periods. Is it going to work?
