When Can One Start Playing Golf After A Laparoscopic Surgery?
I had a ruptured appendix 2 weeks ago. Underwent laparoscopic surgery, did fine from the appe c drain placement. Drain out @ 7 to 10 days post op. I developed Acute lung injury from the sepsis 2 to 3 days after the surgery. Spent 12 days in the hospital, on home 02 but about to get off of it. I have had no problems from the surgery itself. When can I quit worrying about getting an abcess, and when can I play golf? I am 63, female, 02 sats running 95 on room air at rest after 2 hours off 02. Former smoker (quit on day of appe). 02 sats in hosp were as low as low 70s off 02, Was on 3l per NC.
