What Would Cause Tinnitus After Removal Of A Fly From The Ear?

I had a bug fly in my ear a few days ago. I almost had a panic attack while it flapped around inside my ear (that part hurt). I went to the ER and they removed the bug (flying insect). I went to the doctor today (pain in ear and headache). He said there were scratches (probably from the forceps they used to remove the bug) in the canal and a bruised ear drum (probably from the bug flapping around). He gave me ear drops to use for the next five days. Tonight, every time I blow my nose, there is a loud whistle in that ear??? What could be causing that?

Hi,

Check for any ear perforation due to an insect which may cause air leaking sound. Use antihistamines and antibiotic ear drops. But in case if ear perforation doesn't use ear drops.

Use oral painkiller medication, if symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
