What Would Cause Depression And Fatigue While On Amlodipine Besylate Manufactured By Lupin Instead Of Unichem?

Taking Amlodipine Besylate 2.5 mg. for high blood pressure since 2009. My last prescription changed manufacturer to Lupin, a diamond shaped white pill. I had been taking manufacturer Unichem, white round. The Lupin made me very tired/fatigued, wobbly, eyes very heavy almost to the point of depression. I have had no issues with mfg. Unichem. Why would one mfg. effect me and the other doesn t when it should be the same pill?

Hi,

If the generic molecule is the same or the pharmaceutical molecule are the same then it is nothing to do anything with the shape of medicine or the physical appearance. If you do have some symptom it may not be due to that but it could be something else and most of the time it is the psychological condition responsible for that. So no need to worry about the medicines, and if you are not comfortable or the doubt arises then you can switch over to the preparation which most suits you.
