What Treatment Is Suggested For Swollen Testicles?
my husbands testical is swolen herts him sometimes. he had a ultrasound done. the said he had some kind of clog. that it could be drained but might just come back. they said he could have surgery to fix it once and for all. but we do not know what this is about can you explain whte the surgery consists of and how are the rusults? or is there anything else we need to know?
Its a minor surgery...done under spinal anaesthesia...the scrotal skink is incised to reach the testicular sac...the sac is opened...clot evacuated and the bleeding point identified and ligated...sac closed and incision closed...
Its nothing to worry about...results are excellent
Needle aspiration may puncture another vessel and the clot will reoccur.
