What Treatment Is Suggested For Diarrhea?

My mom has severe diarhera. We have tried Immodium and strong over the counter medication from the pharmacist. She has had this for over a month and a half, nothing has worked so far. She has seen her doctor and has been tested for C-diff and does not have it. Any ideas on what to do next?

Hello,

severe diarrhea is a serious problem because it can lead to dehydration. Visit a gastroenterologyst as soon as possble to make colonoscopy and other tests which will discover the exact reason why your mum has this problem. Testing only C diff is not enough.
