General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Over the counter medication Circulation Booster is claimed to be effective pain and swelling associated with polymyalgia and neuropathy however its efficacy and safety has not been proved on any clinical studies.

For polymyalgia I suggest you to take low dose prednisone for about two to four weeks followed by its gradual dose reduction and cessation.

For neuropathy I recommend gapabentine or pregablin along with vitamin-B12 injections.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
