i woke up this morning feeling like passing out stool. Unfortunately, stool is stuck in my rectum. Will not come out. My bowel movements come very easily and this is the first time this is happening. The only thing besides my regular diet that I had yesterday was bran for breakfast. Also, I did not drink as much water as I normally do in the course of my day as I had a lot of errands to run. What do I do now as I feel extremely uncomfortable. I have had three bottles of water and it is not helping. Thanks
hi, Start eating high fiber diet like green leafy vegetables and lots of other vegetables that will definitly help you. Other thing is drink water adequetly atleast minimum of 4-5 liters per day. Daily in the night make an habit of eating a Banana after you finish your dinner. Also consider some amount of physical activity. With all these its still not happening then consider syp Duphalac 20 ml in the night after your dinner Even with this if you are not co0mfortably passing stools then consider PEGRED 3-4 Tea spoon in a glass of water daily night.
Hello I had gone through your question very diligently and I share your concern Since you don't have a chronic problem than you need not to worry In my opinion you should take lukewarm water with lemon juice and honey combination.
Please follow this regime you may get relieved Bend forward and put your hands on both the knees, now slowly move your abdomen in and out with respiration. Don't do it vigorously Just relax and take a small walk Once stool gets hardened due to lack of water intake or lack of roughage it may get impacted. In case if you don't get relief than you may require laxatives or stool softeners like liquid paraffin or lactulose
