What To Do If Doctor Gives Wrong Order For A Procedure?

When a Dr places an order for procedure to be done and the tech says the order is wrong but can t get hold of the Dr to straighten the order for little over a week more, and this case is about cancer which is on top of the heart shouldn t there be some one to fix the order? The Dr even puts Stat on order ?
